Ridgewood NJ, Valley Hospital Chaplain Rabbi Ziona Zelazo was among a group of rabbis and cantors from across the country who was honored for their service as part of one Jewish seminary’s mission to celebrate and embrace the full spectrum of Jewish tradition and observance. The Academy for Jewish Religion (AJR) recognized 19 of its alumni for their significant service to their Jewish communities for more than a decade.

Ridgewood NJ, yesterday the Ridgewood blog reported that parents once again spoke out at Monday evening’s Ridgewood Board of Education meeting about the increase in class sizes.  Taxpayers better get used to it .While  staffing shortage were cited as the primary problem, the reality is with more high density housing being targeted for the Valley Hospital property and the already built high density housing attracting more students to Ridgewood Schools ,taxpayers should prepare themselves to spend more money on classrooms and public education.

Midland Park Women Charged in Chain Reaction Multi Vehicle Collision in Glen Rock

Glen Rock NJ, on March 17th at 4:03 PM, Glen Rock Police  Patrols, along with EMS, were dispatched to the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Maple Avenue following a four-car motor vehicle accident. Two of the drivers and a child were transported to Valley Hospital for further medical evaluation by EMT’S from the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Three of the vehicles were rendered inoperable in the crash and were towed from the scene.  Ackerman Avenue remained closed until just prior to 5:00 pm.

Teaneck Planning Board Gives the Go to Major Holy Name Medical Center Expansion

Teaneck NJ, an amendment to the master plan that could lead to a complete overhaul to the current Holy Name Medical Center was approved by the planning board and sent to the council for consideration Thursday night. The changes could lead to a major  expansion of the hospital’s facilities, complete with two nine-story hospital buildings near the existing hospital, three medical office buildings and other changes over the course of the next two decades.

Twp. of Washington Firefighters Get House Fire Under Control in Under 30 minutes

Twp of Washington NJ, Sunday morning the Washington Township responded to a working house fire in the township. The fire was under control in about 30 minutes. The quick response by the fire department enabled us to contain the fire to the garage saving the home from extensive damage. No injuries were reported. Mutual aid was requested from Woodcliff Lake for a FAST team and Westwood and Ho-Ho-Kus for coverage of the town. Also responding were ambulances from Hillsdale VAC and Valley Hospital. We thank all of our mutual aid for their assistance. A  big shout out to the wives of the firefighters today. They came out in the rain, brought water and coffee for our members and it was greatly appreciated.

According to Coyle his clients mom was hospitalized at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with COVID and her primary care physician prescribed Ivermectin which has been shown to be very effective against COVID and has saved lives, according to a rising number of doctors across the world.
