Westwood NJ, Westwood Mayor Ray Arroyo explains how the borough got its reputation as a film friendly town. “NJ.Com recently ranked Westwood the #4 most desirable Bergen County town. We haven’t asked for a recount. We don’t believe we are competing with ANY other town. And apparently, neither does the film industry. We’ve had a number of location scouts rave about Westwood as a visual backdrop and as a “film friendly“ place to work. The Borough issues film permits through the Clerk’s Office. The shoots are coordinated with Westwood Police Department to ensure everyone’s safety should traffic control be needed.”
