Bayonne NJ , often referred to as , ‘Hollywood on the Kill van Kull’ 1888 Studios will be built on 70 acres at the former Texaco site in Bayonne.1888 Studios will make Bayonne home to the largest film and television studio in the state. The decision to build the studio originates from the long-time wish to give a new life to an empty and unused property near Bayonne Bridge, on the southwest edge of the city. The city’s leaders have settled to bring a taste of Hollywood-style movie charm to Bayonne.

Councilwoman Winograd Changes Her Tune on Schedler from Preservation and Environmental Concerns to Ball Fields

Englewood NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of FELIX BARON- CASTILLO (DOB: 11/07/1991; single; waiter) of Englewood, NJ on charges of aggravated sexual assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, criminal restraint, terroristic threats and possession of a weapon. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Englewood Police Department under the direction of Chief Tom Greeley.

Ridgewood High School Students Narrowly Escaped Serious Injury After SUV Crashed into a Utility Pole

Ridgewood NJ, Five (5) Ridgewood High School students escaped serious injury when their Nissan Pathfinder crashed head on into a utility pole as it rounded a curve on a narrow street near the high school. The late Friday afternoon, 01/27, crash triggered a massive response by local police, fire, and EMS units. One (1) passenger was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital for further evaluation. All others were released at the scene to parents. A flatbed tow truck removed the totaled Pathfinder from the scene. The pole was deemed unsafe by a PSE&G Electric Division troubleshooter and scheduled for immediate replacement. Ridgewood Police at the scene did not indicate whether any summonses would be issued in connection with the mishap.

Specifically, many interactions between these staff members and elected Board members are quite frequently hostile to the point of being embarrassing.

Low Street Signs Block vision between Bicyclists, Motorists and Pedestrians in Paramus

Paramus NJ, recently a couple of pedestrian signs were installed at 650 From road Paramus, near  Marriott Fairfield Inn .These low signs which were installed to protect pedestrians could very well cause an accident because they block vision between bicyclists, motorists and pedestrians. Hope you will inform proper authorities of low signs and prevent an accident just like the sign at Maple and Marshall street in Ridgewood which was moved up a few feet after a cyclist / pedestrian accident.

Hostile Takeovers Are Back: Salesforce is now facing the very real threat of activist shareholders overthrowing its board

Ridgewood NJ, this is starting to smell like the 1980’s . Salesforce is facing pressure from activist firm Elliott Management. The move has Salesforce employees worried about potential additional layoffs beyond those already announced. Elliott’s involvement could result in the ousting of Salesforce’s board of directors, divestment of acquisitions like Slack, MuleSoft, and Tableau, and an end to remote-work policies. Salesforce board members have to be reelected every year, a fact that may be exploited by investors at the next shareholder’s meeting.

Newark NJ, during an evening patrol on January 19th, Officer Candia and Officer Hollis observed a seated subject who was smoking on the platform at Newark Penn Station. As the subject rose to accept a smoking summons, the officers observed a visible handgun magazine. Believing the subject to then be armed, the officers investigated further and found that the subject was illegally concealing a handgun receiver and narcotics. The subject was arrested.⁣
