Man Stabbed in Route 4 Road Rage Incident in Paramus

Paramus NJ, a man was repeatedly stabbed during a road rage incident late Thursday morning, 12/28, on Route 4 eastbound in Paramus in front of a lighting store. The victim was rushed by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus. Initial reports are that the victim sustained wounds in his back and on one (1) arm. Police are actively search for the perpetrator, an adult male who is said to have fled the scene in a white colored sedan. Paramus Police was assisted at the scene by multiple Bergen County law enforcement agencies.

Ridgewood NJ, Tuesday, December 26 – Friday, December 29 trains will operate on a modified weekday schedule with certain Northeast Corridor morning peak period trains canceled and additional late morning trains operating on the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast lines. Rail customers are encouraged to visit njtransit.com to check rail timetables for details and travel before 9:00 a.m. on these days when ridership is lighter, if possible. Buses and light rail lines will operate on a weekday schedule. Select PABT bus routes will have more frequent service operating inbound to PABT on some lines during the late morning hours and outbound from PABT during the early and late evening hours. Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department Responds to Christmas Eve Smoke Condition at the Hilton Hotel

Hasbrouck Heights NJ,at 6 PM, Hasbrouck Heights Fire Chief 60, Chief 62, Engine 2, and Squad 1 responded to the Hilton hotel for a fire alarm activation. Chief 62 found smoke coming from the boiler room and transmitted a 10–30. Crews from Engine 2 located a minor fire in the ventilation pit and quickly knocked the fire with no extension. Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department offered a special thanks to the Wood-Ridge Fire Department for assisting at the scene.
