Leonia Gymnastics Instructor Charged with Sexual Assault

Leonia NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of ANIBAL OYOLA (DOB: 6/09/1984; single; gymnastics instructor) of Leonia, NJ on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Leonia Police Department under the direction of Chief Scott Tamagny.

A Dozen First Place Finishes for Ridgewood at Premier Bergen County Regatta

SEC Charges 11 Wall Street Firms for use of Signal, WhatsApp to Evade Regulators’ Scrutiny

Washington D.C. , the Securities and Exchange Commission today announced charges against 10 firms in their capacity as broker-dealers and one dually registered broker-dealer and investment adviser for widespread and longstanding failures by the firms and their employees to maintain and preserve electronic communications. The firms admitted the facts set forth in their respective SEC orders. They acknowledged that their conduct violated recordkeeping provisions of the federal securities laws, agreed to pay combined penalties of $289 million as outlined below, and have begun implementing improvements to their compliance policies and procedures to address these violations.

Ridgewood NJ, bank stocks continue to face a crisis of confidence , on Tuesday after Moody’s Investors Service announced it had downgraded 10 small and midsize American lenders, and that it may do the same with a handful of major firms. Higher funding costs, potential regulatory capital weaknesses and rising risks tied to commercial real estate are among the strains that prompted a review, Moody’s said.

Ridgewood NJ, the website NICHE came out with its 2023 Best Places to Live in New Jersey  and Ridgewood came in at number 4, just behind neighbor Ho-Ho-Kus at Number 3. Other Bergen county towns that made the list include River Edge at #5 , Closter #6 , Harrington Park #8, Old Tappan #13 , Haworth #14, Allendale #16, and neighbor Glen Rock #23 rounding out the top 25.
