Hackensack NJ, Acting Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck announced that a man was sentenced to prison today for attempting to lure a 14-year-old girl he met on social media for a sexual encounter. The “girl” in reality was an undercover detective participating in “Operation Home Alone,” a multi-agency undercover operation in April 2019 that targeted individuals who allegedly were using social media to lure underage girls and boys for sex.

The 31 men were arrested in “Operation 24/7,” a collaborative operation launched to address the continued spike in reports of potential threats to children from online predators during the COVID pandemic.

Ridgewood NJ, Virgin Galactic has received approval to begin flying customers to the edge of space. The approval follows a successful test flight last month. It is valid through to July 2022 for missions launching from Spaceport America in New Mexico or the Mojave Air and Space Port in California. Virgin Galactic is still planning three more test flights with its employees. Richard Branson plans to be onboard one of the test flights.

Trenton NJ, The Republican members of the Senate Budget & Appropriations Committee responded to a revenue update from the Murphy administration showing a massive $5 billion increase in State revenues during FY 2021 and FY 2022, well beyond what legislators were told to expect. Combined with nearly $6.5 billion in federal relief funds sent to New Jersey, the Murphy administration now has $11.5 billion in cash and absolutely no plan to use it to help New Jersey.
