No Injuries Reported at Hackensack Taco Bell Fire

Hackensack NJ, on Sunday July 10th 2nd platoon operated at 500 South River Street Taco Bell for a fire in the cockloft. Hackensack Fire Companies work extensively to open up the exterior wall and the roof area to contain the fire. Fire was brought under control in 45 Minutes. Englewood Fire, Teaneck Fire  and Bogota Fire assisted at the scene. No injuries reported Fire is currently under investigation.

Hackensack NJ , Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JEROME W. HARRIS (DOB: 11/20/1986; single; owner of a publishing company) of 9424 Skidmore Avenue, Brooklyn, NY on a charge of witness tampering. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, and Bergen County Sheriff’s Department under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton.

Juvenile Charged With Attempted Murder in Hackensack Deli Shooting

Hackensack NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of a JUVENILE on charges of attempted murder, robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of hollow nose ammunition.  The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Deputy Chief Darrin DeWitt.

Memorial Day Apartment Fire in Hackensack Quickly Subdued

Hackensack NJ, on Monday May 31st @ 22:58 hours Members of the City of Hackensack Fire Department first platoon operated all hands at 240 Prospect street for a fire and apartment 209. Fire was quickly knockdown by the first arriving fire companies. Searches throughout the building were negative. No injuries reported at the scene. Englewood and Teaneck Fire departments assisted on scene along with Hackensack UMC, NLS and ALS.

Fire Quickly Subdued on Rooftop of Hackensack University Medical Center

Hackensack NJ, City of Hackensack Fire Companies responded to HUMC at 62 2nd Street for fire on the roof. The Fire involved a generator smoke stack with combustible materials at the roof line burning around the stack. Fire was brought under control in 30 minutes with no reported injuries. Companies from Englewood and Teaneck assisted on the scene. Fire is being investigated by Hackensack fire prevention.

Early Morning Hackensack Crash Sends Two to The Hospital

Hackensack NJ, City of Hackensack Fire Department Deputy 2, Rescue 1, Engine 2 , & Hackensack UMC responded to an early morning Prospect Avenue and Central Avenue for two vehicle motor vehicle accident. Two parties were treated and transported to Hackensack University medical center. Hackensack police will be conducting the investigation. No further information available at this time.
