Leonia NJ, A car crashed into a building in Leonia Thursday afternoon, sparking a fire. The crash happened on the 300 block of Fort Lee Road near Highland Street. The car crashed into the back of an insurance company.
Leonia NJ, on April 30th at 1:26PM Leonia Fire Department was dispatched to assist a resident who’s cat was stuck on the roof. Members of the Ladder Company , Lt Quinton, Ff Pawlick were able to bring the cat safely down and reunited her with her family. Units on scene Le-9, Le-8 and Ladder 1. No injuries reported . The cats name was not released to the press.

Leonia NJ, the Ridgewood based New Jersey Wind Symphony will kick off the Summer Season with a free concert at Overpeck Park. Dr. Chris Wilhjelm, community leaders, and musicians founded the Ridgewood Concert Band (RCB) in 1983 with the idea of providing high quality performing venues for the many accomplished wind and percussion players living in the New York Metropolitan area. On July 1, 2017, the Ridgewood Concert Band formally changed its name to the New Jersey Wind Symphony to better reflect the identity of the organization.
