Two long-serving Village of Ridgewood Historians dismissed in a terribly embarrassing and hypocritical display

Ridgewood NJ, at the December 13 Village Council meeting, the two long-serving Village Historians were dismissed by the Council majority is a terribly embarrassing and hypocritical display.  Joe Suplicki and Peggy Norris were lauded by Vagianos, Winograd, Perron, and Weitz, at the same time that they were being kicked to the curb.  It was cringe-worthy.  It must be noted that Norris and Suplicki had sent a letter to the Council stating their strong objection to putting a huge artificial turf field over the historic Schedler property.  Smelled like RETRIBUTION was the reason for their dismissal.

Family Dog Still Missing after Liberty Street Fire in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood firefighters quickly knocked down an early Monday afternoon, 12/11, structure fire that reportedly originated in the kitchen of a single family home on Liberty Street, Ridgewood. No injuries were reported but Chiweenie Linguini the families dog is still missing a day after the kitchen fire considerably damaged a Liberty Street home. A Chiweenie is a cross between a Chihuahua and a dachshund.

Just 24% Think Congress Is Passing Good Legislation

Ridgewood NJ, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 24% of Likely U.S. voters think Congress has passed any legislation that will significantly improve life in America, while a majority (54%) say Congress hasn’t passed any such legislation. Ridgewood Firefighters Quickly Knock down Monday Afternoon on Liberty Street

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood firefighters quickly knocked down an early Monday afternoon, 12/11, structure fire that reportedly originated in the kitchen of a single family home on Liberty Street, Ridgewood. No injuries were reported in the blaze; however, there was an unconfirmed report of a missing dog. Ridgewood Police, and Ridgewood Emergency Services personnel also responded to the incident along with mutual aid fire and EMS units from several nearby communities.

Village Council Facing Difficulties Finding Residents Willing to Serve on Various Boards and Committees

Ridgewood NJ, the current Village Council continues to face difficulties finding residents willing to serve on various boards and committees. The Councils recent decision to terminate long time Village historians over policy disagreements has further compounded the issue .

This added to the council and their supporters appearance of bullying , harassing, perhaps blackmailing  and in some cases overtly racist behavior toward residents  and their seemingly contradictory policies on the environment and general small mindedness has lessened the appeal  to serve and contribute .
