Ridgewood NJ, The Village’s Parks Department employees are cutting up the trees which they take down into logs, and offering them to Ridgewood residents for free at the Recycling Center. This saves the Village money, because we don’t have to pay to dispose of the trees which are cut down, and it also provides residents with free firewood for their homes. You may pick up the logs at the Recycling Center, during their regular business hours.

Ridgewood NJ, Since turning back the clocks, there have been some home burglaries in the Village. These typically have occurred during the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., when it is dark and no one is home. There have also been burglaries from vehicles parked in driveways.
Please be aware that Public Safety is the Village of Ridgewood’s #1 priority, and our Police Department is giving their full attention to uncover every detail and piece of information, so that they can identify those involved in the burglaries. In addition, there are extra Police patrols on the streets. If you are aware of a burglary which has occurred near your home, and have home security cameras or a Ring doorbell camera, please contact the Ridgewood Police Department, at 201-652-3900, and let them know. The videos obtained from these cameras will assist the Ridgewood Police Department in their investigation.

Ridgewood NJ, Our Village, Our Future: Visioning for Ridgewood’s Next Master Plan – Add your voice and vision to the future of the Village of Ridgewood – visit www.VisionRidgewood.org
What should the Village be like in 5, 10, or 20 years? What trends do you think might have a significant impact on the Village in the future? What is your vision for the future of the Village?

It must be the same few people that have misquoted figures for the restoration time and again! There is a saying “you are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts” The cost has been quoted from the Council time and time and time again and the County has publicly listed its grants to the town.
Maybe the author doesn’t care that across 17 is an area of thousands of taxpaying Ridgewood residents who have been marginalized. First they were cut off by the “improvements” on Route 17, which took away their ability to cross directly to Ridgewood; second their school was taken away; and third the only large parcel of land, 7 acres, was to be a 90 foot baseball field and a historic house torn down. Finally they gathered together and showed the town that they deserved better. They deserved a park; they agreed to a small playing field; they deserved a meeting place which will be the house; and someday maybe they will actually get their school back. The house which the author maligns is listed on the NJ Register of Historic Houses. The author and others keep coming to the mic at public meetings and ask for “proof”, which they have received time and again. Is one taxpayer more equal than others? Is his/her tax money more important than that of a resident of the East Side? Why doesn’t the author and his compatriots who seem to criticize everything, take his/her ire somewhere else? With all that is going on in this world, guns, nationalism, bombs, fires, why keep criticizing the restoration of one house. And I will sign my name, unlike the author.

the drug addicts see our suburban towns as pansies…ripe for the picking …train in break and enter and haul ass out..all they need is any empty fed ex box and everyone thinks they belong on your front porch to scan your locks and window reinforcements .Then kick in your backdoors then party on your jewelry and cash..Police should be stopping strangers walking with flyers and Boxes
In the neighborhoods ..it’s dark late afternoons now,,
