Wyckoff NJ, Wyckoff State Farm Insurance Agent Tammy Felton, and Hackensack Meridian Health generously donated bicycle helmets to students at Washington School. The helmets were raffled off during the annual bicycle safety program held on May 25th. This program is a joint effort by the Washington School PTO and the Wyckoff Police Department to educate the students about safety while operating a bicycle. During the program, the students are instructed on the rules of the road and laws covering bicycle riding. Officers ensure that the student’s helmets are properly fitted and oversee a confidence course that the students navigate on their bicycles. The day was a great success, and the students learned valuable skills.
