Hahaha, here is a definition of an ombudsman: “someone whose job is to deal with complaints that people make about an organization or particular type of business” Oh my god, so Paul Aronsohn is taking complaints and dealing with them, what the heck? He is the most insensitive, nasty man ever, remember how he was for our 8 years of hell when he was on the council, sniping at people, writing nasty emails, screaming at Bernadette Walsh and Tom Riche, then at Susan, remember how he tried to kill Mike Sedon’s candidacy by contacting his employer, oh man, the list goes on and on. What the heck was Murphy thinking putting THIS man in charge of helping anyone, most especially those with disabilities.
Ridgewood NJ, on one of the many Ridgewood Facebook pages a poster said loved to walk in Ridgewood but cars need to heed New Jersey state traffic law .
MOTORISTS in New Jersey MUST stop for pedestrians in a marked crosswalk. Failure to observe the law may subject you to one or more of the following:
2 POINTS
$200 FINE (plus court costs)
15 DAYS COMMUNITY SERVICE
INSURANCE SURCHARGES
NEW JERSEY STATUTE 39:4-36 states:
-The driver of a vehicle must stop and stay stopped for a pedestrian crossing the roadway within any marked crosswalk.
Oh for God’s sake. Yes, the two made horrible decisions for Ridgewood. They virtually ruined Ridgewood, but read John Updike. Adultery in the suburbs is as common as fast food joints. Yes, it’s wrong, but sometimes the adulterers, find a new love and divorce their original spouses and remarry or live together forever.
I think having sex before marriage is wrong too; it used to be thought that way. Let’s not keep throwing stones at these two people for reasons of adultery.
Trenton NJ,Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi (R-Bergen) today introduced legislation banning public officials convicted of corruption from holding jobs with state and local governments. The bill (A4584) is co-sponsored by Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak (D-Middlesex) and is co-sponsored by 38 additional members.
So that means the “Meter thief” can’t work for the Village . But more importantly let see how many in Trenton can pass the test.
This is disgraceful, embarrassing for Ridgewood but not surprising from the 2 involved. Together they made some of the worse decisions that will effect Ridgewood forever, they embarrassed tax payers who disagreed with them, they berated and judged and turned their backs on friends and now they are gone and the hits still keep coming. Time to move out you two and leave us all alone
Oh. My. God. Are you for real? I am sorry she is your sister, but your sister was the nastiest most vindictive person on the council, it was unbelievable. She attacked her council colleagues. She attacked citizens. She called people names like STALKER and TERRORIST. She used obscene language when addressing a member of the public. And now, unbelievable, we find out that she was having an AFFAIR with someone else’s husband who happened to by the Mayor. Aronsohn flipped his stand on Gwenn’s beloved Valley hospital in mid-stream – now it is clear why. “kindness, compassion, tolerance, love, sharing, tenderness, and the willingness to pick up another woman’s husband.”
To all of you who keep commenting and posting as anonymous, why are you posting that way? Here is an example of what I, Dana Habernickel Koenig, feel about the way the world is going:
It is so sad and I see grown up bullying – all around us – A perfect red carpet rolled out for our kids to follow suit. It is disgraceful. If people are unhappy with themselves, they seem hell bent on pushing someone else down instead. Kindness. That is what we all need to model for our kids. Kindness, compassion, tolerance, love, sharing, tenderness and the willingness to extend a hand to pick a person up, not so shove another down.
No quickies, though. Restoring her hair and makeup before reappearing in public would take at least an hour. He doesn’t have enough hair to worry about.
Rurik, Roberta, Hans the Nazi-blog-accuser, Jan the I’m-more-ethical-and-moral-than you, and all the rest who attacked honest council members: what do you think of your ethical and moral leaders now?
Well, other readers can watch, imagine, deplore, puke, and/or get off on the bedroom-related shenanigans. More important: can every vote in which they both participated be nullified?
The disclosure of this alleged adulterous romantic/sexual relationship may shed some light on an incident in which one of the individuals reported to be involved became irate when learning that RIdgewood Police Department patrol officers entered his/her home when they found the front door ajar.
If they were hooking up at the time campaigning for the 2012 election was taking place, that fact should have been disclosed to Ridgewood’s voters. My bet is that Ms. X and Mr. Y would not have won in the 2012 election. I just can’t imagine voters would have knowingly elected 2 admitted adulterers to office. But then again, stranger things have happened around here.
To all of you who think we should move on….you are dead wrong. We learn from the past. Harwin was heavily funded by her own grand fortune and the money of many out-of-towners. And even if Hauck, Pucciarelli, and Aronsohn’s names are not on the donor list, they were outspoken advocates for her. She was nasty, beyond nasty, racist, divisive. She sanctioned that horrific mailing from Hans Lehmann. She was a disaster. We must never forget that she tried so hard and spent so much. Thrilled that she lost, but still, she did get a bunch of votes.
Painting over the green bicycle lanes and arrows is essential, but not enough. Two lanes in each direction on the west side of Franklin Ave. underpass MUST BE REINSTATED. They were needed when it was built a zillion years ago and far more now and even more in the future. Rip out the new wider median with the lampposts (a narrower one can be safe if built a little higher; it worked fine for decades) and put back the four lanes NOW or we are DOOMED. Waste of money? Yep. Shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Everybody warned that it would be a disaster. Aronsohn pushed it through. He’d be even more thrilled if it were replaced–more construction contracts. Nevertheless, gotta happen, and if they wait until the construction is in high gear it will be impossible to close that area for the time needed to fix it. PUH-LEASE, Council, just DO it. Send the bill to Aronsohn and Pucciarelli.
Not everybody who complains about something is a racist, anti-disabled (whatever that means), etc. That is pure hogwash but unfortunately, becoming fairly common–too common to be true. The claim that residents who fought the new apartments are prejudiced, for example, is similarly flawed. It’s the number of new people, not who they are, that’s the problem. In fact, we don’t know who they will be. But we hate them anyway–even if they are white and able bodied and all went to Harvard!
Responding to complaints with accusations of bias is deeply offensive and demonstrates that the speaker has no better argument. In fact, most people would rather do anything than get embroiled in these things. They don’t speak out until the problem has become untenable. Then they’re accused of awful intentions. It’s a ploy used by bullies to silence their opponents and prevent others from joining them. Won’t work.
Many changes during my 28 years as a neighbor of the Habernickel Horse Farm. The once bucolic setting transformed into a chaotic mix of nonstop Health barn business activities and recreation programs. Hillcrest Road is a mess and wildlife is disappearing.Fear of retaliation keeps neighbors quiet.
Stacy Antine stalks the neighbors. She takes photos of them walking their dogs in the park and she instructs her employees to do the same. She has a timeline in a few of them and they are NOT afraid to share it or speak out. This business destroyed a park and the owner made it personal and took neighbors to court. Ramon was aware of this situation and now as Mayor is promoting it. What a disappointment .
Be careful in that park. Antine keeps a list of all who enter even-neighborhood kids with backpacks what out. Unless you pay to go you get written up It is NO longer a friendly neighborhood park thanks to healthbarn and the village for still allowing it.
I heard that Antine was accusing neighbors of being racist, and now that I remember those hearings was back when Aronsohn and Sonenfeld ruled the dais that was the case then. People who spoke up against using a public park for a private enterprise were accused of not wanting children from Newark to come to lily white Ridgewood. Whenever the racism card is put down on the table all bets are off. She is despicable.
the neighbors are willing to let everyone know what Stacy Antine owner of healthbarn did to them in their own neighborhood where they must pay a ton of taxes to live Ramon should be ashamed to promote this business after the owner pulled a stunt like the one she did. Everyone should know and be aware that the village is choosing to support a business over the quality of life of tax payers
