On July 27, 2023, following an 8-week jury trial before the Honorable Christopher Kazlau, J.S.C., in Bergen County Superior Court, TUNG was convicted of murder, aggravated arson, desecration of human remains, hindering apprehension, tampering with evidence, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and stalking.
