Englewood NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that on September 15, 2023, RANDY MANNING formerly of Englewood, NJ was sentenced to a term of life imprisonment in New Jersey State Prison after being convicted of murder, arson, desecration of human remains, and weapons offenses in connection with the death of Rhian Stoute in August 2011.
Fair Lawn NJ, a 4-door Toyota Camry driving southbound on Route 208 near Virginia Drive in Fair Lawn, careened off of the highway late Saturday night, 08/26, and crashed into the basement of a nearby garden apartment complex. The vehicle’s driver could not be located following the crash. Occupants of the struck building were asked to evacuate until the vehicle could be safely removed from the structure; structural damage was reported to have been significant. Evacuated residents standing outside reported observing water leaking in the basement. A technician from PSE&G’s Gas Division was on scene inspecting natural gas lines in the basement. No injuries to residents were reported. Paramus Police assisted Fair Lawn Police with traffic and crowd control. Fair Lawn FD Company #3 and Fair Lawn Heavy Rescue also responded, along with an ambulance (for standby) from The Valley Hospital. K-9 units from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office were also dispatched to assist.
UPDATE: The vehicle’s driver was taken into custody by Fair Lawn Police at a residence in Waldwick approximately two (2) hours after the crash occurred.

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Garfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Uram.
Hackensack NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of BRYANT DULA (DOB: 04/15/1994; unemployed) of 17 Colonial Drive, Little Falls, NJ; and NAJEE LLOYD (DOB: 08/16/1990; unemployed) of 300 Avalon Drive, Wood-Ridge, NJ on charges related to a May 23, 2023, shooting in Hackensack, NJ. The arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Captain Michael Antista.
Englewood NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the conviction of RANDY MANNING of Englewood, NJ for the murder of Rhian Stoute in Englewood, NJ on August 15, 2011. On June 7, 2023, following a six-week jury trial before the Honorable Gary N. Wilcox, J.S.C., in Bergen County Superior Court, MANNING was convicted of nine charges in relation to the murder of Stoute: first-degree murder, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a firearm, desecration of human remains, unlawful moving of human remains, arson, hindering apprehension by destroying or concealing evidence, hindering apprehension by giving false information to law enforcement, and unlawful taking of a means of conveyance.
Ridgewood NJ,Traffic on Route 17 northbound through Ridgewood was temporarily restricted to one (1) lane following a Thursday morning, 06/01, three (3) vehicle crash with rollover and entrapment. Ridgewood Police Patrol Division officers freed the driver of a Subaru Forester that rolled over during the collision. A Nissan sedan and a UPS truck were also involved. No injuries were reported by the UPS driver, however the other drivers involved in the mishap sustained minor injuries. Ridgewood Police was assisted at the scene by uniformed officers from Paramus Police and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office. The Nissan and Subaru were both towed from the scene.

Fairview NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the conviction of DAVID MARTINEZ of North Bergen, NJ for his involvement in an armed robbery that resulted in the death of David Duque Soto in Fairview, NJ on June 29, 2019. On March 13, 2023, following a four-week jury trial before the Honorable Margaret M. Foti, P.J.Cr., in Bergen County Superior Court, MARTINEZ was convicted of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery, felony murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The jury acquitted MARTINEZ of two other weapons offenses.
