Fair Lawn NJ, both occupants of a late model 4-door BMW sedan declined medical evaluation following an early Sunday morning, 05/05, crash in which their vehicle slammed head on into a utility pole at the intersection of Route 208 northbound and Harristown Road in Glen Rock. Glen Rock Police handled the accident investigation while Fair Lawn Police provided traffic control. A flatbed tow truck removed the BMW from the scene.
Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police issued one (1) summons in connection with an early Monday evening, 04/22, collision between an Acura SUV and a KIA SUV at the intersection of Central Avenue and Ackerman Avenue, Glen Rock. The adult female driver of the Acura sustained a non-life-threatening head injury and was transported to a local hospital in a Glen Rock EMS ambulance. The victim’s small dog was uninjured, and taken home by a relative. A father and child in the KIA both escaped injury. Glen Rock Police investigated the crash. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Glen Rock NJ, according to the Glen Rock Police there has been an uptick in vehicle thefts in the Bergen County area recently. Last night into early this morning Fair Lawn had two BMWs stolen near the Glen Rock border. The thieves also attempted to enter a home in Glen Rock prior to the Fair Lawn theft but couldn’t make entry to the home. In general, thieves are entering homes and taking keys from inside. Ridgewood NJ, a suspected DUI driver crashed an Accura RLX into a utility pole on North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood shortly before 8:30 AM, Sunday, 03/03, snapping the pole and causing scattered localized power & communications outages. Ridgewood Policve transported the individual to Glen Rock Police headquarters in order to administer alcohol testing; the suspect, who was subsequently transported to Ridgewood Police headquarters for processing, was uninjured in the crash. A flatbed tow truck removed the Accura from the scene and PSE&G & Verizon crews were notified of the damaged equipment. Ridgewood Emergency Services assisted with traffic control.
