Hackensack NJ, Bergen County spent more than half a million dollars of taxpayer money on TV ads telling residents to mask up, get tested. The county ran even coronavirus-related television ads last year on about 20 channels urging viewers to wear masks, adhere to social distancing guidelines, apply for emergency loans, get tested and get vaccinated.

DENNIS (DOB: 1/25/1992; single; unemployed) of 153 Clinton Place, Apartment 2C, Hackensack, New Jersey on a charge of Aggravated Arson. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, and the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Peter Busciglio.

Hackensack NJ, Bridget Kelly formally announced her candidacy for Bergen County clerk.

If the name sounds familiar Kelly, a Republican, was once a deputy chief of staff for Governor Chris Christie, and was convicted in 2016 along with Bill Baroni, deputy executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, of fraud and civil rights violations for their roles in re-directing access lanes to the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee in 2013 “creating a massive four-day traffic jam” as retribution against the town’s  Democratic mayor for refusing to endorse Christie’s re-election. Known as “Bridgegate” , it preceded the fall from grace of then governor Chris Christie .

Hackensack  NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco announces that the County of Bergen in partnership with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center anticipates the arrival of 1000 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine within the next week. The CDC and State DOH have established the priority of vaccine recipients and these doses will serve Bergen County category 1A healthcare workers who have not received the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine through their employer or the federal Pharmacy Partnership for Long Term Care (LTC) Program administered through CVS and Walgreens. Essex County Man Admits Role in North Jersey Bank Robbery Rampage

Hackensack NJ, An Essex County, New Jersey, man today admitted robbing five banks between October 2018 and January 2019, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Myron Anderson, 40, of Newark, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Kevin McNulty in Newark federal court to a superseding information charging him with five counts of bank robbery and two counts of Hobbs Act robbery.

USS Ling Continues its Slow Progress to Recovery

Hackensack NJ, the USS Ling has been stuck in Hackensack, NJ since 2015 in the Hackensack river ,near the old Bergen Record building . The group USS LING SS 297 plans to move her to Indiana for much needed drydock, and create a new naval museum (Louisville Naval Museum) with Ling as the main attraction.

Man Struck by NJ Transit Train in Hackensack
