Hal is a high-fidelity, full-body manikin, meaning he has the ability to mimic human functions.
Paramus NJ, Red Lobster, the well-known seafood restaurant chain, may close more locations, including three in New Jersey, pending court approval of its restructuring plan. The company filed for bankruptcy last month, citing over a billion dollars in debt. As part of the restructuring, officials aim to sell the business to its lenders in exchange for financing to keep operations going, which involves closing some of its nearly 600 restaurants.

The first was at my local firehouse for the Paramus Fire Department. In the afternoon, He joined the New Jersey/New York Volunteer Fireman’s Association for their annual memorial service.

Paramus NJ, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center held a groundbreaking ceremony for its major Emergency Department (ED) expansion project. The ED currently has 19 beds and will increase to 49 beds with specialized areas for those experiencing a mental health crisis, pediatric patients, and geriatric patients. Once completed, the ED will have separate areas for those seeking mental health services and those coming in for acute medical care with 30 beds dedicated to behavioral health and substance use disorder patients.
Paramus NJ, the former site of the iconic Fireplace restaurant along Route 17 will soon be replaced by a Chick-fil-A, with an expected opening in the first week of May, as confirmed by Paramus Mayor Chris DiPiazza on Wednesday afternoon. This addition adds to Chick-fil-A’s presence in New Jersey, where it already operates 61 locations out of over 3,000 nationwide.

PARAMUS NJ, Bergen Community College music professor Andy Krikun, Ph.D., will move from the classroom to the concert hall for a special evening of original songs covering his career as a musician and songwriter. “Where Have I Been All These Years?” features material from Krikun’s journey with music as a youth growing up in Bergen County to fronting a seminal ‘70s/80s Los Angeles band and into the present day. The Thursday, April 18 concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre at the College’s main campus (400 Paramus Road) will benefit the Ron Mazurek Memorial Scholarship fund, which assists Bergen students pursuing music education. Paramus NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of WHIGMER J. VILLANUEVA, 56, of Harrison, NY for assault by auto as a result of a motor vehicle crash which occurred in Paramus, NJ. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck and the Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Robert M. Guidetti.
Paramus NJ, world-renowned pianist Edwin Sungpil Kim will bring his unique blend of “magic in atmosphere, individuality and poise” (International Piano Magazine) to the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre at Bergen Community College for a fundraising performance in April. “Touch the Music: An Evening with Edwin Sungpil Kim” will feature the artist’s signature style, which weaves audience interaction into his concerts. Cellist DoYeon Kim and vocalist Hyun Joon Shin will join Kim on stage as well. Proceeds from the event will support the creation of a “cultural enrichment” endowment through the Bergen Community College Foundation that will support arts programming at the institution.

Paramus NJ, Valley Health System hosted a ribbon-cutting this morning to celebrate the opening of The Valley Hospital’s new home in Paramus, New Jersey. The Paramus hospital will open on Sunday, April 14, when patients from the Ridgewood hospital will be moved to this new facility, and Valley will begin to provide emergency and inpatient care at its campus in Paramus.
