Hackensack NJ, Hackensack Police responded to The Shops at Riverside for a robbery investigation. A group of four suspects (Three black males and one black female) entered a high-end handbag store, Bottega Veneta, and stole $104K worth of luxury handbags and accessories. They were operating a silver Dodge Charger with an aftermarket red Dodge Super Bee logo sticker on both sides of the front fenders and the trunk lid. They entered the store at the opening hour and quickly left the store after the incident. During the incident, the suspects made verbal threats to the employees putting them in fear. Ridgewood NJ, September 22nd was officially the first day of autumn, and nearly half of Americans are happy it’s here.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 49% of American Adults say the arrival of fall puts them in a better mood. Just 10% say they’re in a worse mood because fall is here, while 37% say the change of seasons has no impact on their mood. By comparison, in March 2018, 63% said the arrival of spring put them in a better mood. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Oradell NJ, since June the Borough of Oradell has debated a proposed redevelopment that would bring retail, office space and 29 apartments to the former Subaru property . On Monday, the borough’s zoning board heard from the project’s planner, the final scheduled witness for 66 Kinderkamack Road LLC’s plan to bring a three-story mixed-use development to the Kinderkamack Road site, which once housed a Subaru dealership. The next meeting, scheduled for Oct. 17, will include a public comment session and board deliberations before a potential vote.

Ridgewood NJ, a serious head injury resultant from a two (2) vehicle, Wednesday morning, 09/21, collision at the intersection of Cantrell Road and Highland Avenue, Ridgewood resulted in a momentary loss of consciousness for one (1) of the drivers, and required that he be transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital for evaluation and possible treatment. Both heavily damaged vehicles were towed from the scene. Ridgewood Police officers and Ridgewood firefighters responded to aid the victim and to remediate a crash related fluid spill.
