Over the decade from 2010-19 U.S. oil output reached double its predicted level. (Obama predicted we would soon drill for the last barrel of oil in North America.) No one in government saw the shale oil and gas revolution coming.

Lodi NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JOEL CINCO (DOB: 9/10/1973; married; unemployed) of 242 Westervelt Place, Lodi, NJ on charges of murder, burglary, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Lodi Police Department under the direction of Chief Donald Scorzetti.

Ridgewood NJ, the Fred d’Elia Ridgewood Run was created by Manfred (Fred) d’Elia and his wife, world-class runner Toshiko d’Elia, in 1976. Tired of driving his wife into Manhattan for competition with the New York Road Runners, Fred decided to create his own race to attract serious runners to their hometown. The inaugural Ridgewood Run took off with runners sporting hand-made bib numbers with Fred acting as race director, course certifier and timer. “With no money to put on a race, we all had our tasks,” recalls Toshiko d’Elia. “I hand-delivered all the race applications around town to save on stamps and our daughter Erica, was handed a black dry-marker to make race numbers.”

Bergen County Law Enforcement Steps Up Security at Houses of Worship

Additionally, in the wake of yesterday’s horrific elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, Bergen County law enforcement agencies are dedicating officers to conduct additional patrols and be present at all schools.

Driver Loses Control and Strikes Home on Prospect Street in Paramus

Paramus NJ, a residential structure in the 100 block of Prospect Street, Paramus was declared “uninhabitable” by a Borough of Paramus building inspector following an incident in which the adult male driver of a 4-door Volvo sedan lost control of his vehicle and crashed head-on into the home late Thursday morning, 05/26. The driver was transported by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus for evaluation and possible treatment. A flatbed tow truck extricated the Volvo from the structure, and removed it from the scene. Paramus Police, Paramus Fire Department, Paramus Rescue Squad, and Paramus EMS personnel and equipment responded to aid the victim.
