Twp. of Washington NJ, according to Twp of Washington Police there is an overall rise in catalytic converter thefts around New Jersey. The Ridgewood blog has frequently reported how widespread this crime is in Bergen County . Catalytic converters are sought after because they are sold to scrap yards for several hundred dollars per piece, for the valuable metals (platinum, rhodium, and palladium) inside of them.

New Jersey legal Weed Sales Begin on April 21

Trenton NJ, The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission will be issuing licenses to seven alternative treatment centers (ATCs) to begin adult-use cannabis operations, including at 13 retail dispensaries, starting on  Thursday, April 21. Individuals 21 years and older will be able to purchase cannabis and cannabis products legally without a medical card.
