Ridgewood’s Graydon Pool Season is June 3rd through September 4th, Labor Day

Ridgewood NJ, the Graydon Pool season is June 3rd through September 4th (Labor Day). Graydon Pool features a shaded playground, water play fountains, shade kites, Adirondack chairs, a picnic area, sheltered pavilion, charcoal grills, and the Water’s Edge Café. Additional amenities include a fenced in Kiddie swim and play area, volleyball, basketball, ping-pong tables, shuffleboard, four square, hopscotch and Wi-Fi accessibility. And better yet no Parkway Traffic, no sharks, jellyfish or dead whales !

Waldwick NJ, Saturday afternoon just past 4:30 the Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a working house fire on Moore Avenue. First arriving apparatus found a heavy volume of fire extending from the front of the house and the B side.

Multiple Agencies Respond to Interstate 287 for a Tractor Trailer Fire in Mahwah

Mahwah NJ, on May 10 Mahwah Fire Department  dispatched two fire companies to Interstate 287 for a Tractor Trailer fire .  The driver had escaped safety. Due to the volume of fire Franklin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department tanker 334 was requested to the scene to assist . Units from Rockland County were also on the scene .

Jewelers Hit by SUV Early Saturday Moring in Ramsey

Ramsey NJ, this morning at approximately 6:54 Ramsey Rescue, Ramsey Fire and Ramsey Ambulance were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with Entrapment on Main Street. The patient was rapidly extricated and responding units assisted in securing occupants of the structure and working with the building department & borough engineers to determine viability of the underlying building structure. Units remained in scene as Ramsey Police completed their work.

FDU Poll: Jersey Residents Say NJ Politicians are Corrupt, Even the Ones that Represent Them

Madison NJ, Fairleigh Dickinson University, most New Jersey residents say that politicians in the state are “very” or “somewhat” corrupt, and they’re only a little more positive about their own representatives in state and local government. According to the latest results from the FDU Poll, 80 percent of New Jersey residents say that the state’s politicians are at least “a little” corrupt, a view driven by partisanship and views of Governor Phil Murphy.

Upper Saddle River Fire Fighters Awarded the New Jersey Meritorious Service Medal

Upper Saddle River NJ, Fire Fighter  Akira Yamaki and Fire Fighter  Patrick Bertollo of the Upper Saddle River Fire Department were awarded the New Jersey Meritorious Service Medal by Ms. Esther Chucaralao, NJ Director of Military and Veterans Affairs, during the May Mayor and Council meeting to honor their military service. Fire Fighter  Yamaki served in the US Coast Guard. Fire Fighter  Bertollo served in the US Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.
