Hopewell Township NJ, apparently the sky is really falling and a New Jersey family says they’re still in shock after a possible meteorite smashed through a roof. According to experts the metallic object that punched a hole in the roof of a Mercer County home this week, smashing into a hardwood floor and bouncing around a bedroom, was a meteorite.

Ridgewood NJ, a resident walking his dog along Valley View Avenue found an exotic snake slinking down the street on Monday afternoon. Tyco Animal Control was dispatched to take possession of the snake until the owner is found. The snake was reportedly a Corn Snake.

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Water – Irrigation Policy – Limited to 2 Days per Week – Year-Round – By following this policy, we can use less water from the wells that have not yet been treated for PFAS. ODD numbered addresses may water their lawns, shrubs, flowers and trees on Tuesday and Saturday, and EVEN numbered addresses may do so on Wednesday and Sunday. No irrigation is allowed on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Irrigation shall be performed before 10:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m., to limit evaporation. Those with automatic irrigation systems and those with Smart Controllers may only water between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. You must register your Smart Controllers, on an annual basis, with Ridgewood Water.

Ridgewood NJ, speaking about bad planning , will wonders never cease, the Village Council plans to purchase a property at 510 West Saddle River Road to build a parking lot and bathrooms on top of the new new Schedler plan which involves clear cutting 8 acres of trees and laying a turf field to create a sports complex on Route 17.

Ridgewood Nj, looks like the Benjamin at 1 Franklin avenue in Ridgewood has a parking problem . The problem being that visitors to the central business district have been grabbing up the assigned spots instead of paying for parking on central business district streets or in the parking garage on Hudson Street . Gee wiz would would have thunk it? Just another ancillary issue created by poor Village planning and please don’t blame it on “climate change” .
