Hackensack NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of ALEXANDER J. DE LA CRUZ (DOB: 6/01/2003; single; unemployed) of, Hackensack, NJ on a charge of possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.

Fort Lee NJ, Martin Kim, the new owner of the Southpole Building, located at 222 Bruce Reynolds Boulevard in Fort Lee, met with Mayor Mark Sokolich and Councilman Harvey Sohmer this afternoon to introduce himself as a business owner and a new member of the community. Kim is the owner of a South Korean home appliance company called Winia Electronics America, Inc., which the building will be named after. Mr. Kim said he is looking forward to becoming an active member of the community and presented the Mayor with a $3000 check for the Fort Lee Charitable Foundation for Fort Lee. We welcome Mr. Kim to Fort Lee and thank him for his generosity.
Trenton NJ, Republican members of the Assembly Appropriations Committee rejected Governor Phil Murphy’s claim that increased school funding in his $53.1 billion budget equates to property tax relief, and endorsed a GOP plan (A5253) to tap into income tax revenue to fully fund schools and ease the burden on property taxpayers.
