The boys were acquitted when it was determined that the accuser was lying, an over zealous prosecutor purposefully withheld exculpatory evidence and the media prejudged the case and then assumed the role of judge, jury and executioner.”

If the name sounds familiar Kelly, a Republican, was once a deputy chief of staff for Governor Chris Christie, and was convicted in 2016 along with Bill Baroni, deputy executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, of fraud and civil rights violations for their roles in re-directing access lanes to the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee in 2013 “creating a massive four-day traffic jam” as retribution against the town’s Democratic mayor for refusing to endorse Christie’s re-election. Known as “Bridgegate” , it preceded the fall from grace of then governor Chris Christie .

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Palisades Park Police Department under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Captain Anthony Muccio.

Hackensack NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco gave a county wide COVID19 update as of 12pm Friday, January 8, 2021, there are 50,763 total presumptive positive cases identified in Bergen County as per the CDRSS system; impacting all 70 municipalities.** As of today, 40 Long Term Care (LTC) facilities in Bergen County report at least one active presumptive positive case as per NJDOH.
We have sadly lost 2,102 Bergen County residents and our County mourns their loss and offer condolences to their loved ones; we continue to grieve as a community for the precious lives lost.

Strong winds and hazardous gusts throughout PSE&G’s service territory caused downed trees, branches and wires. As of 4 p.m., approximately 5,800 of our 2.3 million customers were without service. The majority of those customers are in Bergen County.
