Ridgewood NJ, The Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra’s string quartet and woodwind quintet performed last month at the Vista, a retirement community in Wyckoff. The appreciative audience enjoyed string performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “A Little Night Music” and Alexander Borodin’s “Notturno.” The woodwinds performed pieces by Francis Poulenc, George Gershwin, Adrien Barthe and William Grant Still.

Ridgewood NJ, with gas prices soaring, energy policy is likely to be a major issue in the midterm election campaign, and voters strongly favor a policy of promoting domestic petroleum production.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 70% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the U.S. government should encourage increased oil and gas production to reduce America’s dependence on foreign sources of oil and gas.
