On March 13, 2023, following a four-week jury trial before the Honorable Margaret M. Foti, P.J.Cr., in Bergen County Superior Court, MARTINEZ was convicted of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery, felony murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The jury acquitted MARTINEZ of two other weapons offenses.
