Pal Park Man Victim of Hit and Run Remains in Critical Condition in HUMC

Palisades park NJ, The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Palisades Park Police Department are requesting information from the public regarding a hit and run with a struck pedestrian where the victim sustained serious injuries.

On Sunday, July 21, 2019, at approximately 2:14 a.m., the Palisades Park Police Department received a report of a fight in progress outside of 400 Bergen Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim lying in the roadway with serious injuries. The victim, a 33-year-old male, was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The task force is charged with locating and arresting individuals who have outstanding criminal warrants and are fugitives from justice from Bergen County Superior Court. Ridgewood NJ, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal and Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo today announced arrests of 16 alleged child predators in “Operation Home Alone,” a multi-agency undercover operation targeting men who allegedly were using social media in an attempt to lure underage girls and boys for sexual activity. The defendants will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Park Ridge NJ, The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Park Ridge Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in yesterday’s Oritani Bank robbery.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at approximately 12:20 p.m., the male suspect entered the Oritani bank located at 177 Kinderkamack Rd in Park Ridge, NJ and asked to speak with the bank manager. While speaking with the manager, the suspect advised that he was in possession of a bomb and requested that all employees accompany him to the vault.

Shooting in Bogota Leaves One Dead

Bogota NJ, Acting Prosecutor Dennis Calo announces the following information:

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, the Bogota Police Department, and other local agencies are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early this morning, December 12, 2018, in Bogota, NJ.

At approximately 1:43 a.m., the Bogota Police Department received a 9-1-1 call of shots fired outside Buddy’s Bar, 13 East Fort Lee Road, Bogota, NJ. Officers from the Bogota, Teaneck, and Ridgefield Park Police Departments responded to the scene, where they found a 28-year-old male on the front lawn of a nearby house, 286 Leonia Avenue, Bogota, suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released at a later time.

This arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti.

Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is Looking for Information on a Victim of a Moter Vehicle Accident in Elmwood Park

Elmwood Park NJ, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is *** Seeking information about identity of individual struck by vehicle in Elmwood Park. ***
On October 19th at approximately 10:00 pm Elmwood park Police responded to the intersection of Broadway and Orange Avenue on the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found the victim who is still unidentified, had been struck by a 2014 Ford Explorer that was traveling east bound on Broadway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
