To Ridgewood Central Business District Businesses:
As you know, the Central Business District Welcome Back to Ridgewood event creates a pedestrian mall by closing streets from North Walnut Street to Broad Street every Saturday and Sunday. Every other weekend there have been about fifty protesters from Ridgewood 4 Black Liberation gathering, marching, yelling and using bullhorns. Although disruptive, the demonstrations, comprised primarily of Ridgewood residents, have been mostly peaceful. Unfortunately, some protesters have physically tried to grab customers sitting in chairs or otherwise harass CBD patrons. On July 4th, one of the protesters was arrested for obstructing traffic.
“We’ve imbibed so much fear-mongering propaganda, and done so in such a docile, unquestioning manner, that we have suffered psychological damage. Six months of psyops has produced a great deal of mental and emotional scar tissue. We’ve impaired our ability to think, not only as individuals, but also collectively at every level–local, county, state, as a country, and as a species (globally). Groupthink is putting us in a deeper and deeper rut of stupid every day now. The bad decisions we are making now will have untoward ramifications for years or even decades unless sanity somehow re-emerges and is allowed to prevail. The problem is, intelligence will be mistakenly perceived by the deranged mob as intransigence, and the people who express it attacked and “canceled”.
The dynamic of Groupthink is now kicking into higher gear. Demented minds are collectively producing poorer and poorer decisions. If we don’t soon get a hold of ourselves as a society, the edifice of reasoned self-government we’ve been building for the past few centuries here on this side of the Atlantic will continue to weaken. It might even collapse.”
“I witnessed the RPD arrest of the young woman. They had already gently warned the kids against breaking any laws, such as obstructing a highway. The arrestee was using a megaphone to berate the PD and any law abiding citizen who would dare to come anywhere in the protester’s path.

After night of tear gas, Hong Kong protesters dig in By Jethro Mullen, CNN updated 10:33 AM EDT, Mon September 29, 2014
Hong Kong (CNN) — Thousands of pro-democracy protesters remained camped out on major highways in the heart of Hong Kong on Monday, defying government attempts to both coerce and cajole them into giving up their extraordinary demonstration.
The protests have brought widespread disruption to the heart of one of Asia’s biggest financial centers, blocking traffic on multilane roads and prompting the suspension of school classes.
CNN’s Ivan Watson, at the scene, described it as a “sea of humanity,” the biggest crowd he had witnessed since protests began last week.
“The young people — predominantly 21, 22 years old — have been chanting out here, repeating the word ‘hah toih,’ meaning ‘resign,'” Watson said, against a backdrop of chanting and waving cellphones.
A police crackdown on demonstrators on Sunday — involving tear gas, batons and pepper spray — resulted in clashes that injured more than 40 people but failed to eject the protesters from their positions among the city’s glittering skyscrapers.
The government adopted a more conciliatory approach Monday, saying it had withdrawn riot police from the protest areas. It urged people to disperse and allow traffic to return to the roads.
STAND YOUR GROUND: PROTESTERS DIVERT 3RD ROUND OF B– USES FROM MURRIETA by MICHELLE MOONS 7 Jul 2014
MURRIETA — Demonstrators opposed to illegal immigration stood their ground again at the Murrieta Border Patrol station on Monday, where U.S. Border Patrol had been scheduled to transfer a third round of buses, with approximately 140 illegal aliens aboard in total, transferred from overcrowded Texas detention facilities.
For a third time, the buses were rerouted to the San Ysidro, California Border Patrol station, near the U.S.-Mexico border, for processing. The demonstrators gathered in areas to the north and south of the Murrieta station after law enforcement blocked off the road near the station itself. Many told Breitbart News they considered their stand a success, since buses scheduled for Murrieta are avoiding it as long as demonstrators remain.
The anti-illegal immigration protests Monday brought out new, first-time demonstrators and onlookers from many different backgrounds–from young enlisted Marines to legal immigrants from Germany, Mexico, and Central America. Karen Siegemund of Rage Against the Media, comedian and author Evan Sayet, and radio host Kender Macgowan made it out as well.
Despite the news of buses being re-routed for the second time since a standoff with three buses in Murrieta July 1, anti-illegal immigration demonstrators plan to continue to monitor and be at the ready should any transfers of illegal aliens to the Murrieta station resume.
