Ridgewood NJ, at the April 23, 2024 Ridgewood Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting,in the matter of the Outfront Media LLC application to place an electronic billboard at 500 Route 17 South, there was a packed courtroom . Residents raised quality of life concerns over the billboard , but something else to look forward to , Anti-Semitic messages .

Ridgewood NJ, one day after an accident sent a car careering into George Washington Middle Schiool , Ridgewood Police issued one (1) summons in connection with a Friday morning, 04/26, two (2) vehicle, head on crash that took place in front of 596 Grove Street, Ridgewood. The driver of a white colored, 4-door Mercedes sedan was evaluated on scene by Ridgewood Fire Department EMTs, but declined ambulance transportation to a hospital. No injuries were reported by the driver of vehicle #2. A flatbed tow truck removed both damaged passenger cars from the scene.

Ridgewood NJ, The driver of a Nissan Rogue lost control of her vehicle while parking Monday morning, 04/15, and slammed into the front facade of a nail salon located on Godwin Avenue, Ridgewood. The driver is reportedly employed at the business she crashed into. No injuries were reported by the driver and the nail salon had not yet opened for business. Ridgewood Police, Ridgewood Fire, and a Village of Ridgewood construction code official responded to the mishap. The Nissan was towed away.

Sunday’s 1500-meter racing event on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia was the fourth of a five-race series, where nearly 500 rowers from 80 clubs across the mid-Atlantic competed.

Ridgewood NJ, the Village Council adopted a $61.2 million budget with a 2.74% municipal tax rate increase, which is below the current rate of inflation. That equates to a municipal tax increase of $144 on the average home assessed at $710,168.
Please keep in mind that the Village is only responsible for 23.4% of the total taxes collected, while the budgets for the schools, county and public library make up the remaining 76.6% of your tax bill.

Patients will be transported from Ridgewood to Paramus via Linwood Avenue, and ambulance staging will take place at Graydon.
