Ridgewood NJ, Bravo, Ridgewood residents and local Veterans were out in force bashing the Village Council and particular two council members over their disgraceful behavior at the December 7th council meeting towards the proposed very generous gold star memorial donation by the American Legion Post 53. More than about time.

She is incredibly knowledgeable and in her very real actions and votes has been a staunch advocate for “truly” reasonable development, while successfully guiding our Village through Covid. As a Planning Board member, former RW Fire Chief, JIM VAN GOOR has shown a proven track record supporting reasonable development. These are the quality of dedicated, reliable civil advocates – with real voting track records that we need running our town.

Ridgewood NJ, recently there has been a renewed push of disinformation as to the defunding of the Per Diem EMT Program . To set the matter straight the Ridgewood is re-posting the May 10, 2021 article recounting all the FACTS in detail . For the record this blog has always been a big fan of the volunteer EMT’s in the Village of Ridgewood , but certain agenda pushing residents have tried to use this event to further their own aims ,distort the public record and hurt Ridgewood Emergency Services Reputation.
Unfortunately candidates Winograd and Weitz driven by special interests have opted to engage in a disinformation campaign in an attempt to misinform voters .

Ridgewood NJ after a log commenter called the Mayors performance at the candidates Night Debate , “horrible, shrieking mess. I will never vote for Knudsen. I did, twice, but never again. She has disintegrated in the last year.” Another reader defended the Mayor:
“It would have been hard not to feel combative when your work of nearly a decade was being attacked with blatant lies and false claims while a sea of planted supporters of your opponents glared at you, laughed at you, and yes, openly booed. Horrible.”

Ridgewood NJ, the League of Women Voters Ridgewood Village Council Candidates’ Night went about as expected , the questions crafted were clearly meant to promote the agenda driven pet projects and special interests of Winograd and Weitz and their sponsors , no surprise there . Weitz showed his total lack of knowledge of the village by repeating well crafted pre written answers that often had nothing to do with the questions and making bold pronouncements to appease his handlers . Weitz came off having no clue and no experience and at one point actually promoted the idea that people who play pickleball are too feeble to make the Village Council meetings person?
