Ridgewood NJ, Superintendent of Ridgewood Schools Thomas Gorman told North Jersey Media on Wednesday that the district is still assessing the most recent damage after the Ho-Ho-kus brook flooded the RHS Stadium and Stevens Field at Ridgewood High School .

Ridgewood NJ , in 2016 business owner Paul Vagianos, on behalf of Progress for Ridgewood, inviting candidates for Village Council to participate in a candidate forum at the Park West Tavern . The price of admission to the forum, was a signed pledge to support the immediate construction of a massive five level parking garage at the Hudson Street site.

Ridgewood NJ, on Wednesday night, October 6, the Village Council is scheduled to award contracts totaling $135k for repairs to the artificial turf at Maple Park ($113k) and natural grass at Vets Field ($22k). These expenses will NOT be covered by insurance.

I am a lifelong Ridgewood resident and I’m very happy to be raising my family in the Village I love. I started my early years in Ridgewood and my parents purchased their first home on Pershing Avenue when I was ten years old. We moved in on a hot, steamy, bright, and sunny 4th of July. At that moment I knew Ridgewood would always be home. I could think of no better place to live, work, and raise a family. Ridgewood is a beautiful village with much to offer all members of our community.

Ridgewood NJ, cost estimates to clean-up the flood damaged artificial turf at Maple Field (owned by the Village of Ridgewood) have not yet been submitted to the Village Council for review and approval. It is believed Village Council members will discuss this issue during their scheduled October 6 Public Work Session, and formally approve clean-up expenses at their scheduled October 13 Public Meeting.
