Eight Englewood Police Officers Honored For Meritorious Service

Englewood NJ , The 200 Club of Bergen County Valor Award ceremony honored eight Englewood, New Jersey Police Department officers for meritorious service during two separate calls for service; the apprehension of two individuals in possession of a handgun and the subduing of a man with a machete.

Fair Lawn Police Subdue Women on Rampage

Rair Lawn Nj, on October 3rd at 1:27 pm Fair Lawn Police Officer  Mark Roskowsky & Police Officer Stephen Buskiewicz responded to 20-21  Wagaraw Road on a report of a female kicking and then jumping on a parked vehicle. When the police units arrived, the female attempted to run away but was caught by the officers. In the process of securing Allison Diaz, age 43 of Clifton, she kicked P.O. Roskowsky in the leg and kicked P.O. Buskiewicz in the face before she was placed under arrest. She was charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and criminal mischief, then was transported to New Bridge Medical Center for an evaluation.

Volunteer Firefighter Charged In 9W Crash that Sent Five to the Hospital

Cresskill NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of LUKE STEIN (DOB: 2/02/2004; single; student; volunteer firefighter) of 193 East Madison Avenue, Cresskill, NJ on charges of aggravated assault and impersonating a law enforcement officer. The arrest is a result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Alpine Police Department under the direction of Chief Christopher Belcolle.

Dispute on a NJ Transit Bus Ends When Glen Rock Police Escort Passenger off the Bus

Glen Rock NJ, on September 26th at 12:01 AM Glen Rock Police Patrols were dispatched to a reported dispute on a NJ Transit Bus at the Harding Plaza Bus Station.  Upon arrival officers found that a disruptive commuter was refusing to deboard at the stop.  The commuter was escorted off the bus peacefully and agreed to wait for the next bus at the stop.

Man Arrested after Parking Lot Stabbing Incident in Fair Lawn

Fair Lawn NJ, on September 10th at 10pm, Fair Lawn Police responded to the parking lot of 14-25 Plaza Road where a 23-year-old male from Fair Lawn was found with a stab wound in the abdomen. Det. Geovanny Buitron & Det. Justin DiGuglielmo took over the investigation and arrested Carlos Rodriguez, age 28 of Fair Lawn, after identifying, then stopping him as he walked on Abbott Road at High Street. He was released after being charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
