Paramus NJ, according to Paramus Police a home invasion led to one arrest after a daughter woke to find three individuals ransacking the home. On Monday, May 16, at approximately 4:44 a.m., the police responded to a Henry Street home on the reports of a burglary in progress.

Two Bronx Men Arrested in Armed Late Night Carjacking in Twp. of Washington

Twp. of Washington NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of DARIEL PEREZ-GRULLON (DOB: 8/30/1999; single; unemployed) and LUIS GUZMAN-ENCARNACION (DOB: 05/23/1999; single; employed as a kitchen worker) of the Bronx, NY on carjacking-related charges. These arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, the Washington Township Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Skinner, and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Glenn O’Reilly.

Ridgewood Police Question Several Individuals on Vets Field Baseball Diamond Damage

Ridgewood NJ, several individuals were questioned by Ridgewood Police Department Patrol Officers late Thursday night regarding an incident in which the driver(s) of a vehicle(s) allegedly drove onto a baseball/softball diamond at Vets Field and performed “donuts.” Employees from the Village’s Parks Department were observed repairing the damaged infield this morning.

Mexico City Mexico, the New Jersey State Police have located Juan Francisco Aguillon, 43, of Mexico, who has been on New Jersey State Police’s Most Wanted List for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile in 2003 and being on the run for nearly two decades.

Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute Resumes Security Training for the UN

Mahwah NJ,  the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute has once again welcomed United Nations (U.N.) personnel for training in “Safe and Secure Approaches in Field Environment” (SSAFE) protocol. The Bergen County Law and Public Institute had previously hosted SSAFE for U.N. personnel from September 2017 until operations for in-person training were put on pause at the beginning of the pandemic.

Newark NJ, Great Point Studios, a studio investment/management business specializing in film and television infrastructure, and The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Newark’s anchor cultural and civic institution, today announced a partnership with global content leader Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) to build a major new production facility in Newark. The facility will be owned and operated by Great Point Studios. As the facility’s long-term anchor tenant, Lionsgate will receive naming rights to the studio. Northwest Bergen’s Best Known Beekeeper Comes to The Rescue of Ridgewood Home

Ridgewood NJ, Northwest Bergen’s best known beekeeper, Frank Mortimer, safely removes approximately 15,000 swarming honey bees from a tree located immediately adjacent to a public sidewalk in the 400 block of Stevens Avenue, Ridgewood, less than one (1) block away from an elementary school. To ensure pedestrian safety, Ridgewood Police Patrol Officer Christopher Mormino stood by at the scene keeping a safe distance while Frank Mortimer worked. The incident occurred early Thursday afternoon, 05/19.There were no reported injuries .

Tenafly NJ, Tenafly police officers were accused of misconduct during a traffic incident investigation on May 3rd . From what we are able to ascertain two officers responded to a road rage incident on Piermont Road. The responding officers were later accused of being “dismissive” to one driver while being “overly cordial” to the other driver .

Ridgewood NJ,  this weekend, Ridgewood Crew took twelve boats to Mercer Lake in West Windsor, NJ, to compete against the 64 best crews in the region for the US Rowing Mid-Atlantic Youth Championship Regatta. Despite dismal weather conditions with delays for fog and rain, Ridgewood Crew finished the weekend with GOLD!
