BREAKING: US Supreme Court blocks Biden’s vaccine mandate for employers

Washington DC, The Supreme Court on Thursday temporarily blocked the Biden administration’s vaccine-or-test mandate for large employers, but upheld the vaccine-only mandate for health providers.
The Court ruled 6-3 against the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s employer mandate, blocking it from taking effect while other legal challenges play out.
The Court ruled 5-4 to keep the health care worker mandate, with Chief Justice Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh joining the liberals.

Hackensack NJ,  A Chick-fil-A restaurant with a drive-thru will replace a shuttered Hooters on Route 4, across the highway from Riverside Square Mall. This will be the Atlanta-based fast-food chain’s sixth location in Bergen County and its 55th in New Jersey.

The Producer Price Index Increased 6.9% in 2021

Ridgewood NJ, The Producer Price Index for final demand increased 0.2 percent in December, seasonally adjusted, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. This rise followed advances of 1.0 percent in November and 0.6 percent in October.

Car drives off Garden State Parkway and crashes into Clifton townhouse

Clifton NJ, early Wednesday afternoon the Clifton Fire Department and the New Jersey State Police received a call for a vehicle that drove off the Garden State Parkway. E6, T2 and NJ State Police arrived and found a vehicle that drove well off the road and down an embankment at Cambridge Crossing townhouses.  The driver was taken to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Global citizens will be able to claim digital residency backed by the Republic of Palau using the blockchain and receive perks of residency without physically living there. Approved applicants will be issued a physical resident ID card and digital ID in the form of an NFT. Cryptic Labs has yet to announce which blockchain the protocol will use.

North Arlington NJ , Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of AARON MEDRANO (DOB: 3/23/94; single; unemployed) of 505 Schuyler Avenue, 2nd Floor, North Arlington, NJ on charges of murder, aggravated assault and child endangerment, and PATRICIA ARTESE (DOB: 7/28/96; single; unemployed) of 505 Schuyler Avenue, 2nd Floor, North Arlington, NJ on a charge of child endangerment. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the North Arlington Police Department under the direction of Chief Scott Hedenberg.

NEWARK NJ, NJ TRANSIT’s Board of Directors today approved an innovative and first of its kind all-inclusive professional services contract to perform Master Planning, Design Services, and Construction Support Services as part of a long-term project for the major restoration and renovation of historic Newark Penn Station.  In addition, the Board of Directors approved funding for Phase One of the contract, which includes the preparation of a Master Plan and completion of a 10% concept design.
