Ridgewood NJ , as previously reported on the Ridgewood blog  on May 18, retired Fairview Police Chief and Run for Hope Foundation Founder Frank DelVecchio will embark on a 200-mile solo run across the State of New Jersey to fight hunger and food insecurity. DelVecchio will begin this multi-day venture at High Point State Park in Sussex County and make his way to New Jersey’s southernmost tip in Cape May.

North Arlington NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of EDWARD A. TORRES (DOB: 9/09/1999; single; unemployed) of North Arlington, NJ on the charges of production of child pornography, possession and distribution of child pornography, debauching the morals of a child, endangering the welfare of a child, and hindering apprehension. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.

Medical Emergency Leaves 72 Year Old Glen Rock Man Laying Sidewalk in the Central Business District

Glen Rock NJ, while on patrol in the area of the Rock Road Central Business District, on Wednesday May 3rd at 4:05 PM, Glen Rock Police officer Andrew Magro came across an injured man laying the sidewalk near the mall with a head injury. It was determined that the victim, a 72-year-old Glen Rock man, apparently suffered a medical emergency while walking and subsequently fell to the ground. He was transported by Ambulance to Valley Hospital.

ChatGPT officially comes to iPhone with new app

Restaurant Assault Leads to Arrest in Fair Lawn

Fair Lawn NJ, an adult female wanted in connection with a Thursday evening, 05/18, stabbing was quickly apprehended by uniformed Fair Lawn police officers less than 1/2 mile away from the crime scene. The alleged 7:45 PM assault took place at the Craftsman Restaurant, 16-09 Maple Avenue, Fair Lawn. A Fair Lawn EMS ambulance transported the adult male victim, whose wounds appeared to have been non life threatening in nature, to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus.
