Ridgewood NJ, well well well, looks like it was the “CHINA VIRUS” after all . The US Department of Energy concluded the most likely origin of the COVID-19 pandemic was an unintentional lab leak in China, according to sources citing a classified report. The findings reverse a 2021 analysis from the department but were said to have included new intelligence; specific details were not provided.  This is something many experts pointed too , but because the scientific debate was stifled and suppressed by the media and government officials reality gave way to models and profits.

Michael I. Halfacre, Esq. is the Executive Director of the Beer Wholesalers Association of New Jersey and a former ABC Director.

Trenton NJ, Recently, Governor Murphy announced plans to make liquor licenses cheaper and more available in the Garden State. Specifically, the Governor’s plan would increase licenses by decreasing the population cap, currently set at one on-premise license per 3,000 residents. The Governor’s plan would do this gradually over five years after which there would be no limits on the number of licenses issued in the state. Under Governor Murphy’s plan, after five years, no license could be sold privately, effectively rendering current liquor licenses worthless and crushing their current fair market value. To address this loss, the Governor also proposes a complicated system of tax credits to compensate for the loss of the license value.  Unfortunately, a tax credit is worthless when your business does not turn a profit or goes bankrupt and could cost taxpayers billions to fund.

Ridgewood NJ, a lot has been made of the current job market and how it compares to the Dotcom Bust and the financial crisis in 2008. The current downturn is far worse than in 2008 for new tech hires but not nearly as bad as in the Dotcom Bust. It is fundamentally different from the Dotcom Bust as many companies and venture capital firms still have a lot of money, they’re just not investing right now. While there is a current downturn in hiring, it appears that no one is panicking and many are crafting a plan for the next few years.

Ridgewood Nj, recent reports of dead whales washing ashore along the Jersey coast have been raising some eyebrows . While at this moment no proven direct link that exists between the development of wind farms off the Jersey coast and the death of the whales and other marine life , the fact that public officials have immediately po po-ed  the idea without any interest whatsoever in discovering what could be the problem is very reminiscent of the crazy , your not even allowed to ask questions mentality of the covid pandemic.
