Not only will this exciting project revolutionize the sport of rowing in Bergen County, but will also expand once-limited access to the Passaic River for the public’s recreational enjoyment. Once complete, this 14,285 sq. ft. two-story multi-purpose center will provide more efficient and increased boat storage, as well as improved instructional and community spaces. I am grateful for those that have helped make today’s groundbreaking a reality, including our community partners the Passaic River Rowing Association and the Passaic River Coalition.
