Twp. of Washington NJ, the Township of Washington Police Department would like to inform the residents that on  December 27, 2023 at approximately 6:00 PM Patrol was dispatched to a residence on the west side of town for an Attempted Burglary call.  It appears two actors were going to possibly attempt entry into a home, which was monitored by the homeowners camera system. Patrol responded, canvassed the entire area with negative results.  Below are the pictured actors:

Township of Washington NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of DONALD KUMAR DAVIS (DOB: 03/17/1990; single; strength and speed coach) of Nutley, NJ on charges of aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Washington Township Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Skinner.

Stevens Institute of Technology to Conduct a Flood Study of the Pascack Valley

Twp. of Washington NJ, for years residents and businesses of the Pascack Valley have been plagued by ever increasing flood events. All of the  surrounding communities have agreed to work together and retain Stevens Institute of Technology to conduct a flood study and provide solutions for our residents. Senator Holly Schepisi, said, “It was my pleasure to work with our mayors and secure $200,000 in this year’s state budget to fund the study. State and local government working together for the benefit of those we represent.”

Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) (“Rite Aid” or the “Company”) today announced it has reached an agreement in principle with certain of its senior secured noteholders on the terms of a financial restructuring plan that will allow the Company to accelerate its ongoing business transformation. Implementing the contemplated restructuring plan will significantly reduce the Company’s debt, increase its financial flexibility and enable it to execute on key initiatives. In connection with this, Rite Aid has initiated a voluntary court-supervised process under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
