Upper saddle River NJ, the Upper Saddle River Fire Department swiftly responded to Weiss Road following reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a fallen tree and entrapment. The incident occurred when a tree toppled onto a vehicle traveling east on Weiss Road, causing power lines to collapse onto the vehicle and trapping the driver inside. Teams from both the Upper Saddle River Fire Department and Mahwah Fire Department Rescue 1 collaborated to extricate the driver safely, once the power to the downed lines was secured. Additional support was provided by the Upper Saddle River Fire Department, Saddle River Fire Department, Upper Saddle River EMS, and Hatzola EMS.

The perpetrators forced entry into the home but were scared off by both the residents and an alarm activation. The incident is currently under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
