Ridgewood NJ, Readers continue to debate the value of the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce . The debate continually focuses on if you feel the chamber really promotes Ridgewood business or as many insist , “always looking to tax payers to bail out the Central Business District ?

The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to advance the commercial, professional, industrial and civic interest of the Village of Ridgewood. We are actively involved in every aspect of promoting and coordinating programs and events that support the business community and help our members expand and grow their businesses.

Inclusion on the Chamber Website
The Chamber of Commerce website lists all members. Member listings include business or organization name, address, and phone number. Site visitors can view member by keyword or category searches.
Inclusion in the Ridgewood “Village Guide”
The Chamber has entered into an agreement with North Jersey Media Group to produce the 2010 Village Guide. The guide is an informative business directory for The Village of Ridgewood. The guide is printed annually and is distributed to every home.
Networking Opportunities
In addition to the annual meeting, the Chamber organizes networking meetings several times a year. Click here to learn more about upcoming events.
Business and Consumer Referrals – The Chamber receives calls on a daily basis. Referrals are made only to member businesses.
Use of our bulk mail permit – Save money with your advertising! The Chamber’s bulk mail permit is available to its members, giving a savings of 50% on all your mailings!
Member Discount Card
Many members offer other members discounts such as 10%, 15%, or 20% off products, free consultations, discounts on services. This is a voluntary program that you may elect to participate in – it’s like an employee discount program for Chamber members.

We promote “Spend Locally” and encourage shoppers and diners to look for the logo. The logo identifies your business as a member of the Chamber, and supporter of the Ridgewood community.
E-Newsletters
The Chamber E-Newsletter includes information on upcoming events and news of interest to the members. We invite members to provide us with important information about their businesses, upcoming events, special promotions, etc. The Chamber is continuing to provide new ways for members to announce their special events through our all-new e-mail marketing efforts. List of New Residents
Members may subscribe to the Chamber’s new residents’ listings. Addresses of new arrivals in Ridgewood, Glen Rock, Midland Park and Wyckoff are provided to subscribers by email (excel spreadsheet), fax, or hard copy.

Chamber Member Mailing List – New members are entitled to a list of all Chamber members. An excellent way to introduce yourself to the entire membership base!
