The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.

East Orange NJ, the New Jersey State Police and Division of Criminal Justice have charged six suspects who were allegedly stealing work vans and pickup trucks in northern New Jersey and dismantling them to sell their catalytic converters and other parts for profit. During the month-long investigation dubbed “Operation Cat Burglar,” detectives linked the suspects to more than 30 stolen vehicles, stolen license plates, vehicle titles, and more than $20,000 worth of stolen tools and equipment.

The arrests are the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and the Maywood Police Department under the direction of Chief Terence Kenny.

At approximately 6;31 am on September 3rd the Paramus Police received a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a motor vehicle on Forrest Road South of Soldier hill Road . Upon arrival officers observed the victim a 58 year old female on the edge of the road way with serious injuries she was transported to Hackensack Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased .

Their range is expanding south and east, and black bears have been sighted in all of New Jersey’s 21 counties. Black bears learn very quickly.
