Ridgewood NJ, it was a beautiful Friday evening for the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce 27th Annual car show . The car show has become one of the big must go events for the Village over the last 27 years. Residents and visitors from all over Bergen County flooded the central business district , to what many auto enthusiasts call the best car show in the county . Resident photographer Boyd Loving captured some great images of the event and all the amazing cars .

The Ridgewood blog is hearing the power outages are mostly confined to the Willard school area . The ETA in the Willard area is either tomorrow morning or Sunday morning.

The meeting is regarding the Ridgewood Water lawsuit and the hiring of professional services for a rate study in compliance with the recent court decision of by Judge Friscia dated July 20, 2017. Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Mayor Susan Knudsen administered the oath of office to Ridgewood’s newest probationary career firefighter, Christopher Mead, and also to Jordan Papietro-Zales, Ridgewood’s newest career Fire Lieutenant, on Wednesday evening, 12/14 during a regularly scheduled meeting of the Ridgewood Village Council. On-duty and off-duty Ridgewood career fire personnel turned out in force to witness the ceremony.

Ridgewood NJ, Seven new Ridgewood Police Officers were sworn in this morning by Mayor Susan Knudsen. The Officers will begin training at the Bergen County Police Academy Friday July 22nd which will last through December 2016.
