Ridgewood Crew Closes Out the Fall Season with a Gold and Four Top Three Finishes at the Hidden River Chase

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Crew took home a gold medal to finish out its 2023 fall regatta season at the Hidden River Chase, a 4,150-meter head course race on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The meet, hosted by the Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association, was open to high school athletes from ninth through 12th grade, and attracted 217 entries from 28 clubs.

SpaceX’s Starlink ‘achieved breakeven cash flow’

Ridgewood NJ, Elon Musk announced on Thursday that SpaceX has achieved breakeven cash flow. It is unclear whether the milestone was hit on an operating basis or for a specific time period. SpaceX’s valuation is now at around $150 billion. Musk is considering spinning off Starlink and making it public through an initial public offering likely after 2025.

The filing for bankruptcy reflects the challenges WeWork has faced in recent years, particularly after its failed attempt to go public in 2019, and highlights the difficulties of its business model in the commercial real estate sector.

The League of Women Voters of Ridgewood to Host a Candidates Forum for the Ridgewood Board of Education on October 18th

Ridgewood NJ, the League of Women Voters of Ridgewood will host a candidates forum for the Ridgewood Board of Education on October 18th. Questions from the audience can be accepted at the Forum that evening, or sent to [email protected]. up to 48 hours prior (7:00 p.m. 10/16/23). There are seven candidates running . Questions are important , the Village seems to always get bit by the questions no one asks . The other issue for many Ridgewood residents was the Leagues efforts to help eliminate the “School Budget Vote ” ,taking away one of the key corner stones of community involvement in the Ridgewood School System . This effort would seem to have  invalidated the purported purpose the League of Women Voters of Ridgewood’s existence.
