Ridgewood NJ, the Supreme Court agreed Monday to decide when, or whether, public officials who have accounts in social media can legally deny access to individuals who want to post comments. It’s also the issue in a pending suit in San Francisco by a journalist who was blocked from Supervisor Dean Preston’s Twitter account, and similar to suits against then-President Donald Trump for excluding critics from his Twitter platform.

Ridgewoood NJ, the current Mayor and Village Council will not stop just with ramming through an irresponsible sports complex and disregarding the needs and safety of the neighbors in its proximity. Other inappropriate and harmful projects will no doubt be forthcoming. The only remedy is a recall election of this Mayor to mitigate the pending damage, unfortunately a recall is what’s necessary.

Ridgewood NJ, the Village of Ridgewood’s 2023 Operating and Capital Budgets were introduced on March 30, 2023. The Public Hearing and consideration for adoption of the budget will be held at a Special Public Meeting on April 27, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. in the Court Room of Ridgewood Village Hall. This will be broadcast live on the Village website Channel 34 on FiOS, and on YouTube. The public is invited to come in person to offer their comments on the 2023 budgets.

Ridgewood NJ, on Tuesday we reported that Village Hall employees did not have to report to work today due to inclement weather. We later discovered that the “regular joes” in many departments had to report to work on Tuesday and it was only the “white collar” workers in Village Hall that got the day off . The same people who we are told who were privileged during the covid pandemic. They stayed home for a long time while everybody else had to come to work or rotate schedules.

Ridgewood NJ, Village Hall and all Village Departments will be closed on February 20th in observance of Presidents’ Day. There will be no garbage or recycling pickups , and the Recycling Center will be closed. . All Village offices and Departments will re-open on February 21st.
