“Vaccine Mandate” Put on Hold Following a Ruling by a 3-judge panel of the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals

Washington DC, the United States’ “vaccine mandate”* was put on hold following a ruling by a 3-judge panel of the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals. The panel concluded that the mandate, an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that generally applies to companies and organizations with 100 or more employees, is “staggeringly overbroad” and does not sufficiently account for variations in working conditions and environments. The panel concluded that the policy should be suspended until the case can be argued in court. Lawyers from the Biden Administration appealed the initial panel ruling, arguing that a delay in implementing the mandate could result in many unnecessary deaths, but the judges upheld the initial decision. In its ruling, the panel described the policy as “fatally flawed” and indicated that lawsuits aiming to overturn it “are likely to succeed on their merits,” which suggests that the White House could face an uphill battle to institute the mandate in January.

We catalogued everything from the troubles at the Glen School courts ,mirroring issues of the 1970’s Tennis craze which resulted in numerous police responses to loud tennis matches . More recently the Ridgewood blog mischaracterized a resident’s sarcastic comments at a Village Council meeting , equating pickleball complaints by neighbors being akin to Central Business District neighbors complaining about train whistles .

Ridgewood NJ, at Monday night’s Ridgewood Board of Education meeting, Dr. Gorman and board members speculated that the reason that their last survey only received 20 responses was that parents completely trusted administrators and were very content. Perhaps, parents are busy and overwhelmed and have no time to read complicated emails.
In case parents just missed the survey, let me explain the issue. The district received nearly $2m from the federal government to help students and families and schools struggling to recover from remote education. How should they spend that money? On tutoring, mental health initiatives, and summer school? Or on air filters and substitute teachers? Let the board know. The budget has to be finalized by November 24th ( Ridgewood voters no longer vote of the school budget) .

While the Bitcoin community had agreed on the changes back in June, the update was delayed due to testing to reduce the likelihood of something going wrong.
