He has been the vocal candidate for the chairmanship of the Hudson County Republican Party running against do-nothing current chair Jose Arango.

Glen Rock Police Find Abandoned Drug Filled Car

Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police reported officers found a green 2000 Buick Lesabre abandoned near the corner of Cumberland Road and Tonawanda Road. The vehicle VIN number was tampered with and police reported finding  heroin folds and crack cocaine vials inside the car. That vehicle was impounded for investigation.

Glen Rock NJ,  according to Glen Rock Police a car stolen from a Glen Rock driveway was found in Newark Saturday. It was the latest example of an unlocked car being “stolen” from a Bergen County driveway.

Consumer Price Index Posts Largest 12-month Increase Since September 2008

Ridgewood NJ, fanning the fear of inflation  ,the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.8 percent in April on a seasonally adjusted basis after rising 0.6 percent in March, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 4.2 percent before seasonal adjustment.

Traffic on Route 17 Northbound Slowed to a Crawl after SUV hits Utility Pole in Paramus

Paramus NJ, traffic on Route 17 northbound in Paramus was slowed to a crawl on Tuesday evening, 05/11, as a result of a serious crash near the Midland Avenue overpass. Multiple injuries requiring ambulance transportation were reported following the crash of an SUV into a utility pole. Paramus Police, Paramus Fire Department, and Paramus EMS units responded to the incident along with mutual aid ambulances and a paramedic team from the local hospital consortium.

Hudson County NJ,  The Hudson County Young Republicans announced their new chairman today – Pavel Sokolov. Sokolov, the new Chairman of the Hudson County Young Republicans, stated that, “I am excited to advocate for commonsense GOP policies and spread the Republican message of smaller and more efficient government, proud American patriotism, and job growth.” He continued, “every Republican, both officially Young Republican, between the ages of 18 and 40, and those GOPers who are young at heart, are invited to come to our cookout Friday May 14th at 6 pm, located at 1234 Park Avenue in Hoboken, to have a great time with their fellow Republicans and meet the Young Republican county board.” RSVP to [email protected] to attend the event.
