Teaneck School Board Ordered to Update Public Notice Practices by Superior Court Judge

Teaneck NJ, in a recent ruling, a Superior Court judge has determined that Teaneck’s Board of Education has yet to fully comply with an order issued in July regarding its public notice practices. On Monday, Judge Carol Novey Catuogno gave the school board an additional 50 days to retroactively amend its notices for meetings held on December 21, 2023, January 3, 2024, and August 21, 2024. However, the judge denied the plaintiff’s requests to nullify the actions taken in the August meeting or impose any penalties against the board members.

Minor Injuries After SUV Crashes into Utility Poles on Route 208 in Glen Rock

Glen Rock NJ, early Thursday afternoon on November 7th, a Volvo SUV collided with a cluster of utility poles at the intersection of Route 208 northbound and Harristown Road in Glen Rock. The driver sustained minor injuries, while one of the poles in the cluster was significantly damaged. Thankfully, no loss of utility services was reported following the incident.

Details were unveiled Friday in a newly unsealed criminal complaint against Farhad Shakeri,51, charged with murder-for-hire. Shakeri reportedly admitted to FBI agents that an Iranian official tasked him in September with killing Trump.

The site, situated in a light industrial area near Route 4, would see the development of both a retail store and a cultivation space within the same warehouse.

Firefighters Battle Brush Fires Along New Jersey’s Palisades as Red Flag Warning Continues

Englewood Cliffs NJ, Firefighters worked tirelessly through the night to contain a series of brush fires along the Palisades in Englewood Cliffs. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service reported that the largest fire, covering roughly 19 acres, was about 30% contained by morning. Fire engines, ground crews, and a helicopter capable of dropping 350 gallons of water are actively working to contain the blaze.
