Westwood NJ, on April 16, 2023, the Westwood Police Department responded to a report of an accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist at the intersection of Washington and Mountain Avenues. This accident involved very serious injuries suffered by the cyclist, It was a scene that likely will not ever be forgotten by those who responded to render aid. Following the accident, follow ups were made to determine the condition of the cyclist and thoughts and prayers were offered to the young man, whose life appeared to have taken a tragic turn.
