Trenton NJ, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., along with the Republican National Committee and the New Jersey Republican Party, filed suit Tuesday night to invalidate Governor Phil Murphy’s Executive Order 177. This unconstitutional order violates New Jerseyans’ 14th Amendment right to vote, as well as the Elections Clause and the Electors Clause of the U.S. Constitution. The unlawful power grab by New Jersey Democrats has demonstrably opened the state’s election system up to fraud and will lead to the disenfranchisement of New Jersey voters. In defense of free and fair elections, the Trump Campaign cannot allow for Democrat party bosses to undermine the integrity of our democracy.

“To the people in that photo: HAVE EACH OF YOU PERSONALLY PAID SIGNIFICANT MONETARY REPARATIONS?

If not, then put the sign down and stop protesting! You’re a hypocrite!

My counter-protesting sign would read: “Anyone demanding reparations must first pay reparations him/herself”.

My other sign reads: “If you live in a glass house, it’s unwise to throw stones!

“I still chuckle at white kids from Ridgewood with a sign that says “Pay Reparations”.

OK, if the protesters want reparations paid, they can hit up mommy and daddy for a few hundred thousand and that should solve the problem.

What’s that you say? “Oh, no, we don’t want to *personally* pay the reparations”. We prefer to have the reparations paid by the non-protesting Ridgewood citizens.”

Trump Administration Moves to Ban “TikTok” App

tiktok

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Washington DC, on Friday President Trump’s announcement that he plans to ban Chinese-owned TikTok has halted a potential acquisition of the popular app by Microsoft, with both companies waiting for more information for the U.S. government, according to several people involved in the talks.

The two companies were in advance stages of negotiating a deal that could have been announced as soon as Monday. Under the deal, TikTok’s owner Bytedance would sell the U.S. operation of TikTok to Microsoft, while continuing to operate the rest of the global video app out of a European headquarters. It’s unclear if the companies would share technology, such as through a licensing arrangement, or whether Microsoft would rebuild and operate the company. One option under consideration would have had Bytedance eventually separate its China business by listing it as a public company.

“Ridgewood is a nice bubble for a BLM protest. They got their arrest and a “cause” to harp on. Now they wait with cell phones to “document “ bad behavior. They are all over the cyclist arrest because it was just toddlers on bikes.

Some local political activists have invested a lot of their credibility in the Ridgewood Black Liberation Movement. Contacting the press and seeking attention. It is Slacktivism at its best. Demonstrate in a nice park after latte at a local coffee company. Stay in your $1m plus home and pretend to be saving the world. Decry White Privilege while being the very embodiment.”

Administration Insiders Say Murphy’s COVID Decisions Not Data Driven

Trenton NJ, Senator Anthony M. Bucco reiterated his concerns that a host of COVID-19 responses ordered by the administration of Governor Phil Murphy have not been driven by data as the governor has repeatedly claimed.

“We’ve all heard the governor repeat his refrain that ‘data determines dates,’ but we have a pile of mounting evidence to the contrary,” said Bucco (R-25). “Health experts in the administration who have the data that should be guiding the State’s COVID-19 response efforts have said they were never consulted before announcements were made by Governor Murphy. To the contrary, those career public health officials were only asked to help justify the governor’s completely arbitrary decisions after those decisions had already been made. It’s absolutely unbelievable.”

Ridgewood NJ,  U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson today announced the Department will ultimately terminate the Obama Administration’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) regulation issued in 2015, which proved to be complicated, costly, and ineffective— so much so that Secretary Carson essentially removed its burden on communities by suspending the regulation’s 92 question grading tool in January 2018.
