Englewood Cliffs NJ, according to Palisades Interstate Parkway Police a 7 am fall off the cliffside left a man hurt near the Palisades Interstate Parkway where he’d tried taking photographs Friday morning.
Ridgewood NJ, an adult male motorcyclist was rushed by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus after sustaining serious injuries in a Monday morning, 08/29, crash at the intersection of North Monroe Street and Woodfield Court, Ridgewood. A sanitation (garbage) truck owned by the Village of Ridgewood was reportedly involved in the crash as well. Officers from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department and Ridgewood Fire EMTs rushed to aid the victim, who was said to have been knocked unconscious in the collision. A paramedic team from The Valley Hospital assisted Ridgewood Fire EMTs. The damaged motorcycle from the scene by a tow truck. There was no visible damage to the large truck.
Mahwah NJ, a multiple vehicle crash involving a flipped over roll-off container truck and an entrapment forced the temporary closure of Route 287 northbound near mile marker 64 in Mahwah on Monday morning, 08/22. Mahwah Fire Department, was assisted by Franklin Lakes Fire Department, and a Ramsey EMS ambulance was also observed at the scene. At least one (1) victim with a life threatening traumatic injury was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus. No information was available regarding the condition of other victims, if there were any.
Hackensack NJ, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Hackensack Police Department are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Essex Street in Hackensack, NJ on Friday, July 29, 2022 at approximately 3:52 p.m. Responding officers transported one of the motorists to Hackensack University Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.

Dumont NJ, according to Dumont Police they received a 911 call reporting the alleged fatal assault at 11:53 p.m. Saturday. Police then responded to 124 New Milford Ave., a single family home across the street from Dumont High School, where they found the 79-year-old female victim, who was later pronounced dead at Hackensack University Medical Center. The 30-year-old male was taken into custody.
Rochelle Park NJ, Rochelle Park Fire Department and Maywood Fire Department required the use of hydraulic extrication tools to free an individual who was entrapped inside of a Mazda SUV that had flipped on its side after hitting a tree in the 300 block of West Passaic Street, Rochelle Park on Tuesday morning, 07/19. BLS and ALS personnel from Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) aided the victim on scene before ambulance transport to HUMC’s main campus. Rochelle Park Police provided traffic control at the scene and investigated the single vehicle crash. The heavily damaged vehicle was righted by a hydraulic lift tow truck prior to its removal from the scene by a flatbed tow truck.

a railroad crossing rehabilitation project in Lodi, Bergen County near the Hackensack University Medical Center.
Glen Rock NJ, a Sunday afternoon, 07/03, crash on Route 208 northbound, in which a motorcycle operator sustained life threatening serious injuries, resulted in an approximate one (1) hour, complete closure of Route 208 northbound between Maple and Lincoln Avenues in Glen Rock. The crash victim was rushed by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus with the assistance of a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital. Glen Rock Police and Glen Rock EMS responded to aid the victim. Fair Lawn Police and Ridgewood Emergency Services assisted with traffic control. A pothole/roadway depression may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
Paramus NJ, the Bergen County Prosecutor and the Bergen County Medical Examiner are seeking the public’s assistance with locating the family of Eugene Mack, Jr. who died in 1978 and was only recently identified.

Paramus NJ, a residential structure in the 100 block of Prospect Street, Paramus was declared “uninhabitable” by a Borough of Paramus building inspector following an incident in which the adult male driver of a 4-door Volvo sedan lost control of his vehicle and crashed head-on into the home late Thursday morning, 05/26. The driver was transported by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus for evaluation and possible treatment. A flatbed tow truck extricated the Volvo from the structure, and removed it from the scene. Paramus Police, Paramus Fire Department, Paramus Rescue Squad, and Paramus EMS personnel and equipment responded to aid the victim.
Glen Rock NJ, a Mother’s Day outing ended badly when an adult female was struck and knocked to the ground by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Glen Rock strip mall early Sunday evening, 05/08. Glen Rock Police, Ridgewood Police, Glen Rock EMS, and a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital rushed to aid the injured woman, who was, fortunately, completely alert and conscious after impact. A Glen Rock EMS ambulance transported her to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus for treatment on her non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved, an adult male, remained on the scene and fully cooperated with police officers who investigated the mishap.
River Edge NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of SUN MIN GRACE YOO CHAN (DOB: 1/10/1986; married; educational counselor) of River Edge, NJ on charges of murder, aggravated assault, and child endangerment. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the River Edge Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael Walker.
